Pennsylvania Last Will and Testament Form

Pennsylvania last will and testament establishes how a person would like their property, including both personal property and real property or land, to be distributed after they die. Wills make these preferences legally enforceable and without one property is subject to the state’s intestate succession rules. The person who creates a will is called the “testator,” while the people (or organizations) who will receive assets are called “beneficiaries.”

Laws Title 20 (Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries)

Signing Requirements (tit. 20 § 2502) – Wills must be in writing and signed by the testator. At least two people must observe the testator sign the document and then sign the will themselves in the testator’s presence.
