Wyoming Last Will and Testament Form

Wyoming last will and testament establishes how the property of a person will be distributed after their death. Wills are common legal documents that let a person’s preferences, rather than the state’s intestate succession rules, determine what will become of an estate. Wills can also appoint a person, called an executor, who assists in the process. In legal terms, the person who creates the will is called the testator.

Laws Title 2 (Wills, Decedents’ Estates and Probate Code)

Signing Requirements (§ 2-6-112) – Wills must be in writing and signed by the testator in the presence of at least two witnesses. The witnesses should be people who are not receiving property under the will’s terms, and must also sign the will.
