West Virginia Last Will and Testament Form

West Virginia last will and testament lets a person set binding rules about what should happen to their property after their death. The person who creates a will is called the testator, and people or organizations whom the will identifies as recipients of assets are called beneficiaries. Once a will has been created, the testator may revoke it, or modify it with a document known as a codicil.

Laws Chapter 41 (Wills)

Signing Requirements (§41-1-3) – Wills should be in writing and signed by the testator. The testator must sign in the presence of at least two witnesses, who should then sign the will in the presence of the testator and of each other.
