Wisconsin Last Will and Testament Form

Wisconsin last will and testament is a legally binding record of a person’s desires for what should happen to their property after their death. The person who creates a will is called a testator, and a will allows them to give some or all of their property to various people or organizations, who are known as beneficiaries. Wills are enforceable and can help prevent disputes about the fate of an estate, but can also be modified or revoked by the testator.

Laws Chapter 853 (Wills)

Signing Requirements (§ 853.03) – A will must be in writing and signed by the testator in the presence of at least two witnesses. The witnesses should also sign the will within a reasonable time of the testator.
