Virginia Last Will and Testament Form

Virginia last will and testament contains instructions regarding the disposition of a person’s property after they die. Wills can be made by any competent person over the age of 18; a person who creates a will is called a testator. Along with determining the people or organizations who will receive a testator’s property, wills can also appoint people to assist with the distribution process, and modify or revoke other wills.

Laws Title 64.2 (Wills, Trusts, And Fiduciaries)

Signing Requirements (§ 64.2-403) – Wills must be in writing and signed by the testator. At least two witnesses must observe the testator sign, and then sign the document themselves in the presence of the testator.
