Indiana Last Will and Testament Form

An Indiana last will and testament contains a legally enforceable set of instructions for distributing a person’s property after they die. The person who creates the will is known as a testator, while the people, or organizations, that receive property under a will are called beneficiaries. Along with distributing property, wills may also appoint executors, who oversee the distribution process, and guardians, who help take care of beneficiaries that are not yet adults.

Laws Title 29 (Probate)

Signing Requirements (§ 29-1-5-3) – The testator must sign the will in the presence of at least two witnesses, who also need to sign the will in the presence of the testator.
